Designing epic experiences since 2001

A black-and-white photo taken in an auditorium featuring multiple rows of empty seats. Two men are seated, with one man on the left leaning forward and wearing glasses and a mask, and the other, a younger man on the right, standing and interacting with a smartphone. The background shows large panels on the wall and a piece of audiovisual equipment.

2001

Brandon Chynoweth (shinoth), a worship leader with a passion for immersive experiences, decides he has more to offer designing experiences rather than leading them. Using his background in high level live production, he starts a company using the word “epic” to express his vision for what people need from a gathering and what leaders are trying to achieve.

Experience. Participate. Inspire. Connect.

2012

Epic introduces a transparent and cost-efficient business model to move from “vendor” to “partner.” We make it our mission to be an authentic extension of your staff. This innovation drives unprecedented growth as Epic triples in size in 2 years. More innovations follow: seamless triple-screen, broadband acoustics, “every seat” loudspeaker systems, WW-RGB house-lights, invisible acoustics, 4K lens to lens, vertical IMAG, cinema-live broadcast, logarithmic subwoofer steering, XR studios and more... our reputation for fully custom solutions grows with us.

2022-Present

Epic is now an established (but still boutique) leader in this space. With virtually no marketing, our reputation and quality of work forces us to grow. To meet the demand, we acquire a large airplane hangar on a historic World War II runway to serve as the new design studio. After a major buildout, we move in with momentum. We are now more capable and prepared for the next challenge, the next vision, to serve the next great leader. Onward. Upward.

Everything is possible…

Your message can change a life. The experience of your message is our passion. We can't wait to help you reach every seat... and beyond.
